Every item sent in must meet The Closet Standard to earn a credit. All items are inspected, graded, and rejected if we wouldn't put our own kid in it.

Just Between Friends runs a big consignment sale at the Cow Palace twice a year. Once Upon A Child in Newark buys the pieces they can sell quickly and cheaply, and you carry the rest back out to the car. And there's everything that happens quietly between neighbors, in Buy Nothing groups and on Berkeley Parents Network.
All these options work, but the sales happen on a specific date, the stores want a fraction, and the neighbor route depends on knowing the right person with the right size at the right moment. Our kids grow on their own schedule.

But who has time to find good lighting, photograph every piece, write descriptions, guess at a price, post them, answer "is this still available" four times from people who then go quiet, relist the ones that didn't move, and drive somewhere on a Thursday evening to hand a stranger a shirt?
